Jason Monastra. It has been told to me on numerous occasions that I should write a brief on myself so that people know the perspective of the person you are reading. Personally, I do not think there is enough people reading this for me to warrant a separate page, however for the benefit of the blog world, I will comply.
Hi, my name is Jason Monastra, currently a 33 yr old entrepreneur based out of Charlotte NC. I developed this blog as I have the opportunity in my profession to see and hear a lot of perspectives on different subjects. From politics to humor, the amount of information that passes my desk is overwhelming and way to much for me to lay on the minds of my wife or employees. I talk a lot so this seemed like a natural venture for expressing my voice and it also tends to be soothing as well.
Jason Monastra the person is a conservative Christian with a heart for helping the poor and children. I am open politically to either Republican or Democrat as long as the idea or principle lends itself to allow people to choose the right option vs. being thrown into making the decision or forced to with taxes, etc. I believe in government for the purposes of securing our safety and rights, but not to run our lives. I am huge believer in Jesus Christ and believe that HE is the only way to heaven.
Jason Monastra the talker. I write and talk all the time about various subjects. As I have gotten older , politics have become more interesting with an eye possibly on doing something in the local city. I believe there is a ton of talk, little action and the people in office cave to the interests of the people that got them there, not the people that need them. Money is not the root of all evil, but it sure pushes people in directions that might not have gone without it. Be careful when you got it and use it for good.
Jason Monastra the learner. I hope more than anything to learn more from this blog than anything. With so many people out there and numerous perspectives, I cannot hope but to think that someone reading this might be in a position to enlighten me. I am open to different opinions, digesting them, and weighing them against my current position. Just come with the facts and an argument to support your perspective. There is nothing worse than someone saying something with nothing to back it up, then gets upset with you when you do not believe them on their merit alone. ……….. Sorry I need to chuckle since I just laughed. Hope to hear from you soon.
